Wieso ist Lace (also stricken mit vielen Löchern, einem sehr dünnen Garn (800m/100gr oder dünner) und dicken Nadeln) eigentlich immer einfarbig?
Berechtigte Frage, oder etwa nicht??
Ich finde, dagegen muss etwas getan werden und plane daher meinen ersten MysteryKAL!
"Mystery" bedeutet dabei, dass die Teilnehmer vorher nicht wissen was sie genau stricken - es sind nur die Rahmendaten bekannt wie zb ob es ein Kleid, eine Mütze oder ein Tuch werden soll, eventuell noch Angaben zu Garn, Nadeln und Form.
"KAL" ist die Abkürzung für "Knit ALong" = "gemeinsam stricken": eine Gruppe von Menschen strickt also in diesem Fall gemeinsam etwas von dem sie nicht wissen wie es am Ende aussehen wird.
Klingt lustig? Ist es auch! Es macht Spass und bringt eine Menge Motivation!

Good question - isn't it???
Well, i think there has to be done something and that's why i am planning my first MysteryKAL!
"Mystery", because the participants don't really know what they are going to knit - they only know some hints like if it's a dress, a cap or a shawl. Perhaps some more information about yarn, needles and form.
"KAL" means "Knit ALong": a group of people knitting the same 'something' of which they don't know what it will look like.
Sounds funny?? Well, it is! Lot of fun and lot of motivation!
